First, why are you Intel fanboys so rabid? For a forum that calls itself overclock.net, you sure love to buy CPUs where overclocking simply involves changing a multiplier. If you were half way intelligent, you'd know that people buy BD because it renders better than an i7 920 and it's a lot more fun to overclock.

I know BD and Piledriver are probably going to be slower than Intel, but buying an Intel isn't going to be as fun to overclock. Overclocking is a lot of fun, and Intel is ruining the art of overclocking by making it overly simplistic and limiting your choices when it comes to overclocking.

In my eyes, AMD has a good product. It might not be faster, but it's a hell of a lot more fun to play with.

This forum is more like "scrubby ******s who think they know hardware and can overclock because they can change mulitpliers."

So yeah, I suppose I'll add overclock.net to my ****hole hardware forum list to troll occasionally. I thought [H] was full of fanboy ****tards but this place is just as good, if not better.
So you're saying that it's better because it's harder to overclock?
And by the way, do you know how I overclock my Phenom? I just keep raising the multiplier. And even if bulldozer overclocks better, it gets less performance per clock than sandy bridge. Of course you're going to call me a intel fanboy because I don't like Bulldozer more than sandy bridge.

I think a lot of you are taking this in a weird way. You guys (a lot of you, at least) start bashing and calling people stupid because:

1) They got the AMD FX chip and it's slower so you must be (insert derogatory word here)

2) Intel people are (derogatory word) because they can't overclock for ****.

Jesus...
Myself, I got the AMD proc because I was bored. Yes, bored. It's new, it's controvertial, and I'm having a lot of fun. Do I bash my friends who got intel? No...
Heck, I'm more than waiting for ivy-e... I'm gonna get me one of those for sure.

I mean... taking sides is fun, but when it comes to the point where you go into a thread to insult other people and then brag about it elsewhere... damn.

For some... get a job... then it won't matter as much? 50 bucks more... pfft. Don't like it, buy another plataform, it's a freaking $100-$3000 budget anyway, not an apartment or an island. It can be that simple.

Have fun. (hey, look at that, I got into the bashing party after all)

Or people like you who ****post can leave instead. 90% of news threads and at least half the threads in the AMD section are filled with retarded idiots who do nothing but spew garbage.

"Bulldoza so bad xDDDDD loool". Whats hilarious is half the bashers have a Thuban chip which is just as terrible compared to Intels chips.

Cry me a river. Like 1 rep noob trolls who barely post except to make a cyber-gangsta attack towards someone else with stuff totally outta left field. Go buy some Massengill and get over it.

Fun to Overclock? Fun? Really? I really don't find sitting infront of a computer for hours screwing with settings "Fun". Sandy Bridge takes 5 minutes to overclock leaving me more time to have real "Fun" things. You might just need to get out from behind the computer and do something that's really "Fun". Losing your virginity might be a good first step.

Well, they don't reflect my workloads so yes they are all frauds trying to show me Single Task benchmarks and trying to show me a person does 15 to 30 tasks at given moment the Intel system still stalls and the AMD system keeps on going

That is the point to use overclocked memory for both systems...

VR-zone doesn't know how to benchmark so I don't know why you used them they can't even get the scaling right with Cinebench R11.5
Wait... What are your workloads? I wouldn't mind throwing my procs up in a comparison with yours.

Every benchmark I've seen always does have a synthetic section, but that's limited to 1 or 2 pages out of a total of around 15. They then move on to real world performance such as video encoding, audio encoding, gaming, etc where Bulldozer underperforms most of the time. How the hell is that not real world performance?

You are refusing to listen to reason. So just buy a Bulldozer since you've already made up your mind. This thread is 16 pages long of 98% of the posters here already saying what I just said.
This.
