Safest way for long term storage for radiator?

Thread Starter
I have a RX240 which used to be in my loop, but for the moment I will not need. I will probably start using it again in 2-3 months. There is a little stagnant water in there currently. Its been like that for a week (i know not a good idea). Should I keep both fill ports open and let the water dry out naturally or should I just fill it up with distilled and drop a kill coil in it?

Whats the risk of something getting in there and growing?

Cleaning it out with Vinegar helps. Make sure its dry then Cap off the ports so dust doesn't get into it.
