Do you guys know a fix to this? It's driving me nuts. I can only manage to play about ten minutes before I get kicked off. Since the 25th, I only had two hours of total gameplay and it really makes me sad. ):

you know...i didnt have any issues until tonight playing this game...now im getting this same error..well i got it twice

i did read to turn off upnp on your router...but no idea if it actually works or not

I had this with BC2 for months, then I thought BF3 would be different... but not, always connection to server errors!

But, finally, I managed to fix it two days ago

Wait, I should probably post how as well. I did two things. Firstly this:

1. Press: Windows-button (the one between lAlt and lCtrl) + R, a window should pop up.
2. Write: "services.msc" (without the ") then press enter.
3. In the list of services, scroll down to "UPnP Device Host", click it and press "Stop service".
4. Now do the same thing but with the service "SSDP Discovery".
5. Exit the window and go to control panel-> Network and Internet-> Network and Sharing Centre-> Change advanced sharing settings (to the left)-> Under "network discovery" select to turn off network discovery.
6. SAVE CHANGES

and

Disabled upnp on my router completely and forwarded all ports manually.

This fixed all my problems! It was driving me absolutely nuts... upnp is essentially an automatic port opening system that sometimes does not work.

You have to disable upnp on your router as well... otherwise port forwarding is useless. Also follow step 1.
