Just noticed there are screws on the bottom, is it still possible to lap it?

Yep, the screws are actually recessed a bit. A lot of users on OCN have lapped their h50's, which are from the same manufacturer (Asestek).

In regards to the wells for the screws and if you will hit them, you wont. Lapping only takes of a tiny tiny bit of material off the block. I assume the screws sit in a well that is at least .5mm deep. If you have to go down .5mm to get your block level, you got a terrible, terrible block.

yup, look closely at the screws there not on the same level as the coldplate, it would be awesome if u did a worklog for it
