HD 6950 multi-monitor question.

I own a XFX HD6950 2gig version (older version) and am running a 40" as a main flanked by 2 27" ers in portrait through an active displayport>dvi adapter.

I have no problems what so ever with temps, fps etc, but would i see an improvement in these areas if i put in a second cheapy gpu like a HD6450 to run the 27' ers and let the HD6950 stretch its legs on the main 40"?

No, its not going to improve anything. The second card will be useful if you need more output ports than the 6950 has. But that's only in extended mode.

Thx.

I dont like eyefinity... the dam bezels!

I prefer 1 large screen for gaming.

Just thought i'd ask as i run a HD 6450 in my HTPC and was thinking the other day if it would improve things if i threw something like that in my main rig to help the HD6950 with its duties.

The 40" was bought to go under the back patio/veranda but never made it past my comp. room... haha, 6 months later its still here but dont know for how much longer as i am thinking about a 27" 120hz main, well thats what im thinkin this week anyway .

I am working toward a 6 lcd setup (non eyefinity) 24" or 27" undecided as yet.
