Problem with JB iPhone 3GS iOS5

I'm trying to get T-Mobile service on my iPhone 3GS (iOS5, installed Ultrasn0w from Cydia app). I take out the SIM slot from the phone, insert my T-Mobile SIM card and put it back in the phone, and it just stuck on "Searching..." Anyone know how to get the T-Mobile service to work?

iOS5
Baseband: 05.16.05
JB using: redsn0w (latest)
Unlock using: Ultrasn0w (Latest)

Thanks!

Last I checked, 05.16.05 is not unlockable as it's the stock baseband from iOS5. You'll need to upgrade your phone to baseband 6.15.00 which is the iPad baseband. You will most likely lose most of not all GPS capability too.. just a risk of the baseband change. :\\

This guide actually covers what you'll need to do perfectly. It's long, it takes time, just do it properly and you'll be fine.

Read all the steps before you start, and download all the necessary tools before you start... play it safe and calm. Step by step and you'll be on iOS5 unlocked in no time

So if I update the baseband to the iPad baseband, I won't be able to restore it using iTunes?
