Pope,

I love the two res bays you made for the case. For the rear PSU hole you should mill ports on the outside to make it easy to fill / drain since it probably would be the lowest point on your loop. Would be great to just set the M8 next to a sink and open a back port to drain. maybe one at the absolute bottom and one at the top to fill.

Maybe you could work with Jim to add it as an option for the M8 and make a bit of $$$ for your work.

Woah thats actually a clever Idea that I may have to use. I was just going to drill holes on the bottom but having it on the back can help the ease of having a tub right next to the case then just drain.

Thanks RatDog! The psu "reservoir" wont have any ports what so ever:) The big reservoir in the front will have all the clever features such as drainport in the botton, fillport in the top, swappable filter, anti cyclon filters and so on:D And will be milled from a solid piece of delrin that weighs around 4 kilo:P
Lets see if Jim chimes in:) If he is interested in the designs, im sure we can figure something out, but I wanted to wait and contact him to when i finished the big reservoir:P

My drainport will be in the bottom in the front:D Should provide for a easy drain:)

Well if you plan to start selling these I would only be interested in the rear res since I have plans for the font 360 space. What I was thinking is something like this.

700

I would put a fill port on the top of the case under the cover and run a tube down to the back of this res (around the other PSU) and use something like this Alphacool valve at the bottom. When I want to drain I simply put a tube on a fitting in the valve and open to drain the whole loop out of the back of the PC.

I was thinking about the port on the top but since this res would be at the bottom of the case it wouldn't be able to be filled at that level. I guess you could put the PSU on the bottom and then put this res in the top PSU port as another option.

Just saying, if you plan to sell these you might put two G1/4 ports on the outside that can either be plugged or used as I am suggesting. Would increase the ways people could use this type of cool res. I like this better than a cylindrical res that you have to try and figure out where to mount on a wall somewhere.

Hehe lets see how it works out flow-wise before we start anything:) As mentioned it is just a "showoff reservoir" and not intended to work as a real reservoir. The big one is in the machine as we speak, but the millbit just broke, so have to wait a few hours until it is swapped:(

And I am not fond of the idea of making threads into the acrylic. If there is going to be anything anywhere, it will be in the POM smile.gif Threads in the acrylic massivly increases the posibility of cracks duo to harsh fluids:)

Reminds me of the time I spilled nail polish remover on my EK-FC 480GTX acrylic top piece, it cracked the instant it made contact! I was using the nail polish to remove the lettering from my Tygon tubing.
