Llano chip OC settings (LAPTOP)

To anyone that wants to overclock their LLANO A6/A8(NOT A4) Mobile here's my setting. I hope it help you guys. ;D

Keep it under 80C. I tried 3.0GHZ, but gets too hot during testing, fine in gaming.

Normally with these clock settings I hit around 70C in games, and around 75 in stability testing, sometime jumping to 77C for a few seconds.

HP Pavilion DV6-6135DX Refurbished

AMD A8 3500M

-Without Overclock it gets around 16gflops.
-Cinebench overclock = 3.06Points.

Just did it on high.

Not enough ram for Very High. Plus, I don't think I would ever use so much processing power. o;

I aimed for under 64c, so I ended up with only 2ghz @ 1.075v on my A6-3400m.

Under 80C is safe. 100 is the max.

After 2.4ghz you need serious voltages. And the temperature will increase quickly.

2.0Ghz is too slow for game. 2.3Ghz seems right.

I was able to get 2ghz at 1.0500. The sweet spot for my processor is like around a 2.3Ghz(1.075v)

The k53ta-bbr6 right? I wanted one, but my best buy ran out of stock.

So, I got this HP from Newegg. $549 - $15 coupon = $534 Free shipping

What temperature is your 2.3Ghz A6?

My specs are

6GB Ram DDR3 1333 (PC3 10700)
640GB Hard Drive 5.4k rpm
A8-3500M 1.5Ghz (OC to 2.66Ghz)
ATI Radeon 6750M

My battery life is around 5Hours on full brightness

Yup the K53ta is awesome! (even though the screen sucks)

My temps are generally around 72-76 during my average gaming, but if I game on something really intense for like 4+ hours and dont have it well ventilated it will get up to 84.

I'm running a 64GB SSD + 500GB 7200rpm drive, 8GB 1333. 6650m is the dedicated card.
I love how you can set which programs to run on which graphics chip. If I'm not playing something really intense I can game for like 4 hours off the embedded chip. Also, the hybrid crossfire is completely broken, but also completely unnecessary.

If this laptop had a better screen it would easily be worth $750. Actually, based on Macbook pricing, if it had a better screen it would be worth like $1400 lol.

I've got the Lenovo Z575, no dedicated graphics, but I've found the 6520g to be plenty for the resolution it uses.

The fingerprint scanner on this laptop is pretty uesful. ;D

Also, according to my math it was 16flops(1.5Ghz) before, now the average is 28.1gflops(2.6Ghz).

28.1-16 = 12.1

12.1/16 = 0.75625

So I have a 75.6% performance increase on the processor. O;
