6990 Cooling

Thread Starter
Well I finally got a hold of a 6990, This thing is scary loud to say the least. I seen reviews saying it was loud... but DAMN! this thing is scary loud. So it's going under water. What blocks do you guys recommend? I'm looking at either XSPC because its cheap, or maybe DD. Any suggestions?

If you're a bit wary of EK's recent nickle-gate issue, get a Koolance VID-AR699. It's a good performer, plus it's one sexy block.

DD, XSPC, EK & Koolance they do very well. You won't see the temperature disparity of more than 3-4°C. Most important is your cooling capacity.

DD fullblock is one many users here vouch for.
