LOL, have you turned the help popups off or something? You press [R] to pick up guns, so press it to take the shotgun and unwedge the door.

I spent around an hour trying to get past the first 5 seconds of the game because of that on launch day.
I slammed every button on the keyboard and just about everything else I could think of. Then I was told I had to HOLD DOWN R.
Insanity that they didn't have a button icon there, especially when E is interact and that was the logical button to keep trying.

I thought my game was broken and downloaded it twice over.

Because of how linear and restricted bf3's campaign is they are able to put more detail into the environments because the are smaller.

Or maybe you're just wooed by the lens flares...who knows

This isn't the first game to have differing levels of graphics between the campaign and multiplayer. I'd say move on, nothing to see here.

This drove me crazy. I couldn't figure out how to get past it either. You are supposed to press E when looking at the shotgun. But apparently there is a bug in the game because it doesn't always show up. I restarted my PC, restarted BF3 twice, and then the popup dialog that said "press E to pick up shotgun" showed up.

EDIT: I think it might be an Eyefinity-specific issue. We have (had) that issue and someone else in the BF3 thread said it happened to him too, who also had Eyefinity.

I noticed many times in the Campaign that walking up to doors there was no pop up fr which buton you had to push, and most other doors there were, I had to run back and fourth near the door before it would eventually show me.

Also, I liked the very last part of the game where you have to click the RMB instead of the LMB like the rest of the game... It threw me off and got me killed the first time I did that part

Nah happens to me on a single screen too.

MP graphics have always been scaled down over SP graphics...in every game
