Mmm? Perhaps you're right but I'd need to see it to believe it so I'll just leave it for now.

Apple had better get a move on this or I may cancel my 4s order.

I don't think it's effecting everyone. My 4S is just fine.

My iPhone 4s lasts twice as long as my Palm Pre Plus ever did. As long as you configure it to avoid too much constant processing, it outlasts MOST smartphones out there.

its weird how people say it lasts long with no kinda idea "how much"..... to me if i have to worry that my phone might make it a day on regular usage (using internet checking emails and facebook on work breaks) within a 8-9 hour day.... what happens when i use it a little more that regular use then it dies, not good....

edit i just did sum more settings i found and it looks to as if its gotten better by i dunno 20% or a bit more im liking it a little now.

When I use my phone heavily, I'm talking about 2-3 straight hours of gaming, email being fetched every hour, text messaging, apps updating constantly (I keep words with friends flowing 20 games at a time ), and browsing the web. That alone makes it 8-10 hours for me, and then I have the option of charging it at work, in my car, or when I get back to my room.

On the other hand, with mild usage, like today, I'm at 67%. And that's after my car charging it maybe 5-7% between the work drive (25-30 minutes). So theoretically I'm probably supposed to be between 55-60%. My mild usage consisted of a bit of Words With Friends, text messaging, some web browsing, and a couple phone calls. At this rate, if I were to disable automatic fetch, I could make it last a couple days.

Does the sAMOLED drain battery more-so then Apple's IPS LCD on white backgrounds?

Well, with pentile you get less intense greens, but with higher PPI you'd get more pixels so you'd see the greens lack of intensity less. The difference is very small.

As far as I know, sAMOLED uses less power than any LCD. (It is based off OLED after all)
