The G5 case has more room inside as it has only one drive bay rather than the two the Mac pro case features, this allows a full ATX mobo to be used where as the Mac pro case only fits a m-atx mobo unless it is heavily chopped

And yeah you do get those fancy hard drive loading bays

Nothing wrong with going off topic occasionally

As you only have one hard drive I would go for the G5 case as you can fit in your ATX mobo and it still leaves loads of space for a nice water cooling system which could be part paid for using the money saved not needing a new mobo

While were already of topic I thought I would show you a project I've been working on with my brother on and off over the last year

It's powered with a 150cc honda engine from an old generator dad had laying around and has been built from scratch through much trial and error

Anyway back on topic

Using more of the standoffs I removed from the case at the beginning of the project I used dads laithe to smoth off the ends

I then test fitted these on a panel I made yesterday, though unfortunately never got any photos off

The panel is held on with 4 screws which have been countersunk

Here's the panel in place with the motherboard tray back in

Back on the side panel I finished filing the window and began on 400 grit wet and dry working up to 1200

One finished corner

After about 3 hours + filing and sanding here is the finished side panel

That's all for now folks, later in the week I'll be bending the panel holding the reservoir and test fitting some of the hardware. Anyone know anywhere you can still get the old style EK GPU waterblock in nickel with the plexi top? All I can find is the new CSQ styled ones which are pretty pants tbh

Heh, you should check out diygokarts.com if you're into go-karts and small engine builds.
