Dual monitor for gaming?

post #1 of 9
Thread Starter

I'm looking for a new pair of monitors for gaming ~$400(for both) budget.

I was looking at this one: http://accessories.dell.com/sna/prod...NLCC61TKbn4VlQ

And:

Any suggestions ?

I suggest you go for Triple monitor setup since Dual Monitor isn't good for gaming.

you can't game with 2 monitors, you'll need 3.

Gaming with dual monitors is quite awkward since the middle is split by bezels.

One or three or five work fantastically though.

You can always game on one monitor and have the other display cheats or what not.

As others have said, you're better off getting 1 really good screen than 2 for gaming, or going the next step and get 3. Your experience with 2 won't be very good, unless it's specific games (e.g. Supreme Commander is better with 2 screens, one for full map and one for main game)

Then a dual monitor setup is what you are looking for.

I would look at something like this for both monitors;

ViewSonic VX2250wm-LED Black 21.5" 5ms Full HD LED Backlight LCD monitor Slim Design 250 cd/m2 DC 10,000,000:1 (1,000:1) w/Speakers

I've always used ViewSonic and love their monitors.
