get this ssd instead

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835608018

get that for the CPU heatsink, best air heatsink, better than most of those cheap watercooling kits
The D14 is also not compatible with vengeance RAM.

Not sure if you need the soundcard with the receiver, but I could be wrong.
The motherboard seems overkill. Why not go a little cheaper with something like Gigabyte P8Z68 Deluxe $245

I honestly like the rest of the list.

Edit: I just saw the "Breathing room" comment for the motherboard. That's a legit reason.
dont get 2x 8GB kits of ram that high of frequecy, as it is not gaurenteed to work together and i have had many times where it does not... they will simply tell u "oh well"... get 1 16GB kit... also, SB does realy well with low latency, so CAS 11 to CAS 9 wont make much of a difference

Personall I would never spend more than $800 for a build as because technology advances so fast.
read the whole OP or dont post... seriously guys

@OP
thinking about it now, i would get an SB-E chip and mobo... i would then get a server style case with ribbon cables so that you can get air in between those cards... you can then get more ribbon cables and run you sound card and such from there... that would solve ur space issues and it would masively increase the cooling performance wile looking nice and sleek... just my

They weren't guaranteed to work together on Core i7 9xx series when the chips were designed for 3 sticks and people were using 6. I have never had issues with 4 sticks of ram at 2133mhz with any of the setups I've built for Core i7 2x00 chips.

I do agree that it won't make that much of a difference, but for the exact same price go with the cas 9.

I think the thread starter is talking a lot of hot air myself. If you want the best you go for dual xeons.

Jeez, so many people who don't read the OP and his following responses about the project. Stop criticizing if you don't know what the hell is going on.

OP - I would def. look into other projector's that would work almost tailored to your needs. Hopefully you can find answers from that other forum.
