Have I bricked my mobo?

Thread Starter
I am using a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L motherboard. I have an E8200 CPU and DDR2 667mhz RAM.

I researched some recommended overclock settings and took a stab at a 400mhz FSB and a 1.3755v overclock.

However, now upon rebooting, the mobo will not even post.

I cannot even get into the BIOS by hitting DEL at startup.

What should I do to reset the BIOS to default?

I have just cleared the CMOS using the jumper pins.

Now, I just hope I am able to get a safe overclock out of this.

ive got the same board its not a very good overclocker.
every board and cpu doent overclock the same. start off slow with the oc.
set it at 1.36v and see how far you can go with the cpu. just watch for your temp on the cpu.
good luck and have fun!

Would it help if I had 1066 DDR2 ram?

yes faster ram would help for higher overclock.
