Asrock p67 extreme4 gen3 OR ASUS P8Z68-V

Hey guys, I am so confused between these 2 motherboards, i don't know which 1 to pick. I was leaning towards Asrock but my brother wants Asus.

Which 1 is better in your opinion. I don't care about the obboard graphics and i will be over clocking my intel i5 2500k

help please.

Then you answered your own question then. Get the asus motherboard.

ASrock has PCI-E 3.0 and I don't think the asus does (could be wrong). I built my friend's comp with that asrock board and I can tell you its a very nice solid board.

Even though I'm an ASUS fanboy I definitely think you should go with the ASRock board.

Check out what the ASROCK P67 club have to say. I have owned many asus boards but only one asrock board.....you guessed it. Straight out of the box with no issues, overclocked, running like a beast.

Go asus for sure. I have the Extreme4 gen3 on my tech bench right now. I don't like this board at all compared to the asus's. The Pro is nicer and a little cheaper. The Deluxe is way nicer than this. Both of those asus's are coming out with gen3 boards. A P8Z68 Pro Gen3 would be a nice board. The bios layout sucks on this asrock. Some options don't function correctly.

EDIT: Here's a great choice http://usa.asus.com/Motherboards/Int...8Z68V_PROGEN3/

Even tho I got my chip running like this, it's way easier on the asus boards.

ASUS boards simply seems like the best P67/Z68 boards out there. Most other brands simply cannot compare to ASUS' UEFI and, overclocking and stability.
