1. Maps are bottle necked. Specifically Operation Metro and deviants peak.

2. Some maps are ridiculously huge. Operation firestorm, if you don't have a vehicle forget it. There is also another one that's in a wild jungle that randomly has gas stations and stuff.

3. The recoil is awful. But for me specifically it seems like 2 bullets is enough for me while I need a whole clip to kill someone. I just dont understand this.

4. Battle log is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. People just cant help that the other guy is making money. These DWEEBS of companies are just so mad at steam. Why the hell would we want origin? We want steam because it has every publisher jeez.

Not only that IT SUCKS. You cant IM people, in the game they dont even see it. I dont know if you noticed this also but, battlelog and origin friends list is differen and the one in the game isnt even battlelogs friend list rolleyes.gif

I dont even understand who thought it was okay to take off squad chatting jeez.

1. I agree, some maps can just turn into a 2fort style spam fest.

2. There's no problem there, go back to blops.

3. No it's not, you're just bad.

4. Battle log is pretty good actually, would be nice if it was integrated into the game though. Has not been an annoyance for me.

Also yes, squad chatting is obviously there, like has been said.

another flaw, rocket spamming

i agree on all counts... Seems like almost every map turns into an RPG spam fest.

1. Explain

2. Maps are BattleField size, so I see no problems here.

3. Recoil is a joke in this game, definitely catered to console players. IE. Play BattleField 2 and compare the recoil and bullet spread. BattleField 3 is way too easy and is not far from CoD:4/MW2/Black Ops, CoD1/UO/2 had recoil.

The main issue is the fact that the hit registration in this game is absolute garbage compared to BF2/1942.

4. Battlelog isn't that bad, but the fact that they force you to use it is my issue. I would much prefer it as a option. Also switching from Origin to Steam would not change the fact that you need Battlelog if that's what you were inferring.

I haven't played COD in 3 years and BC2 was the greatest FPS I ever played. The aiming wasn't impossible there and it didn't take a whole clip to kill someone.

They have Battlelog voice chat, which is arguably better than in-game chat, since you're more likely to talk to your friends, and it doesn't cut out between games.

3. I'm almost positive its only me, it takes me forever to get a kill even up close it takes me half a clip.

4. everything i said about battle log is facts.

1. That's just how those maps were designed.

2. (from OP) There are plenty of methods to get to where you need to go quickly. Firestorm and Caspian Border are both big, but the caps are centralized. I was actually hoping for more expansive maps; think Heavy Metal from BC2, without the mountains.

3. Doesn't this mean it's not a "Battlefield 3 flaw"? BF3's style takes getting used to. If it's medium-range or greater, I'm always in single-shot mode. Otherwise you burst; or you can grab an MG as Support, those handle much better.

4.

I don't know about you, but that seems like a completely subjective post to me.

I occasionally get some collision detection issues where you occasionally get hung up on some invisible obstacle. Usually it seems to be at the junction between a sidewalk and street but I've had it happen in a couple buildings as well.

The recoil is just skewed and promotes spraying. Don't know if anyone's noticed but a CM confirmed this during the beta. The weapons have their most kick for the first 2-4 shots, recoil then goes significantly lower before steadily climbing.

I find spraying at typically burst-fire length distances to be more effective than actually tap firing. That and negative/positive mouse acceleration and input lag are my main concerns with this game.

I agree with the first two points. I was playing on the oc server yesterday which was fully and i could not find any infatry all i saw was tanks/aa guns and jets/helicopters but it does depend on which map you are playing
