I am a little bit confused,
I need a titanium or no?
what do you mean with a need an analogue 5.1, the titanium is not recommended?
Please help?
Which models do you recommend me? 170 euros more or less.
Regards.

no
the speakers you use are 5.1 analogue so you need a 5.1 or above card like the X-Fi Titanium , Xonar DX , Xonar D1 , Xonar DG

or since they have optical input you can use you onboard

The HDAV cards are somewhat pointless now.
Their main party piece was they could pass Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD from the Bluray to a compatible HD audio format AV receiver via HDMI. At the time, without one of these cards, you could not pass through the HD audio formats due to HDCP.

But Since ATi released the 5xxx Radeon GFX cards, they have built in audio controller, which can pass on HD audio formats to a compatible AV receiver via HDMI.

The Essence STX is a stereo card. You can connect it to an AV receiver via SPDIF, so you can get 5.1 sound with it. It does not have multi-analogue channels (remember the Xonar ST and the H6) like the majority of other sound cards, so for anyone with a set of 5.1 speakers that only has an analogue connection, it would be a pointless purchase. It is best connected to a decent stereo amplifier and speakers.

long speech , but i want you to have clear view about them

I have the Logitech Z5500s hooked to a Asus Xonar DX2 and the quality is impecable!

Definately go with a sound card! My particular card (Xonar DX2) has RCA connections and coaxial. I have it hooked up to the coaxial connection.

EDIT: Just a thought, with the DX2 you are able to remove the metal plating that covers the internal components of the card in case you need space when adding MORE GFX cards. I was really greatfull to have this option when I added my third GFX card, because with the cover on the card I did not have enough room for a third card.

the Titanium Fatal1ty is the same Titanium card with useless 64XRam (while 16 in the normal Titanium) and an EMI shield

i think every body here will tell you they are pointless

as i said earlier , since its for gaming the X-Fi cards are best for you

the analogue are the coloured ones (3.5 TRS , and RCA (the white and red))

Coaxial

Optical

what is better and why needs alot of explanations
it depends about what you have , but the Digital considered by many that they are better
