New Build Final Opinions Please! $2000 Budget

Starting from scratch with an i72600k.
Board is z68 asrock fatality.

XSPC Raystorm block

Black ice gtx 360 rad push pull in a haf 932 case.

Decided to do compression matt black 3/8 ID 5/8 OD, primoflex uv tubing but this is up for discussion. Fesser UV red fluid cause I already bought tons of it a long time ago.

Which tubing should I get or does it matter? Used Tygon in the past.

have corsair 1000hk psu, gtx 460's in sli on air with aftermarket coolers. overclocked like 800/1950 memory. nothing super amazing.

Anyway... this is the last hour literally before I pull the trigger and order all my parts. Need last minute advice, I want to get the frozenq dual bay res with red uv helix.... I have the mcp 655 variable speed pump already. Is this res good? I was going with XSPC dual bay before, and own the danger den dual bay already. I just want one that is pump and res together for space issues.

Also decided to plunge into SSD, crucial M4 256gb as a main with some caviar blacks in raid 0 for storage + 2tb drive for backup image.

I know it is a lot to read but please tell me if this is fn terrible. Does tubing matter at all with compression fittings? i am not getting the gtx 580 hydro 2 from evga since I have a 27" monitor. The gtx's are fine just need some more room to breath as my old mobo is cramped for them.

So tubing? FrozenQ bay res? Compression fittings? Fans! I was going with yates and a 6 fan controller (already bought) but I had a horrible time with Coolermaster r4's, have 2 working out of 7 after 5 months? maybe 6. Horrible fans. Should I get yates? Highspeed for radiator and medium for side of case? Or just get gentle typhoons all around?

Thanks in advance guys.

This is kind of off topic as to what you asked but why the 2600k over the 2500k?

I dunno, I know its proly a waste of money, but, I am still running on a C0 i7 920 at a shade over 4ghz that I built back in Dec 2008? I mean literally one of the first chips out. I pre-ordered and went through 4 of them in a matter of weeks til I found one that could handle 4400mhz. And that beast is still running. I just feel like I will use it for years, might as well spend the extra 60 or 80 bucks.

Fans..
Go yates, mine has lasted me since my first foray into water cooling *LGA 775.

fittings yes they do matter, if you get the wrong sized tubing you'll be in a world of hurt.
I use 1/2x3/4 on compression fittings 1/2 inch. Make sure you read the sizes and what they need, and read them through again before you make your purchase.

Res.... they look nice but idk about them, I first used a T-line then I used an XSPC dual bay/pump res and still going strong.

SSD.. go for it if you have the cash....I want one.. but no cash.. lulz..
Good luck and happy modding.

that is the mobo, i need one with usb 3.0 header since my old haf case doesnt support and transferring blurays to a thumb drive on 2.0 can get really annoying.

So on compression you do have to make sure the wall diameter is correct? That is what made me lose sleep last night! I read somewhere that it matters and other people said it doesnt! AHHH. So I best make sure its 1/4" wall thickness tubing on bitspower compression fittings?

I want to do triple screen but my desk is not big enough, I can have one large monitor or maybe 2 small ones, i dont see the benefit. so as of now 1920 x 1080. in the future i would like to go to a triple monster setup, but that is most likely years away.
