The RPGs can easily destroy people especially with the amount of choke points the maps provide. Not only that all it takes is 1 support to throw ammo and there you go unlimited rockets :/

Also there's alot of noobtoobing in BF3 did you forget the M302 goes right under M4 and M16?
Haven't played as assault or support yet. So can't speak for the m302. But isn't that the point of having a rocket launcher? I mean the assault class gets a medic pack and defrib, Support gets ammo and mortars, and engineer gets repair and rockets. Seems pretty balanced to me, i never find myself saying **** that was a cheap rocket.

Also a gun can easily destroy people in the same choke points.... the point is to avoid the choke points.

Ya but I would expect them to use that combo on vehicles not just running around with it

Hardly viable when in tdm? I might as well use rocket my repair tool is useless. Besides its not like i run around with it that's what the gun is for. But if i see you and you duck under cover or go behind a corner you best bet there is a rocket coming your way

>>Implying MW2 was a good game
>>Implying IW did anything right with the console port of MW2
>>Implying they've handled MW3 for PC in any way, shape or form correctly

I'm getting worried that this'll lead to OP weapons that become extremely OP.

Trying to provide the cheap high of constant perks and level-ups does more to harm the community than strengthen it imo. Guys are more concerned than ever with individual achievement and team play is regularly given second-rate status.

Here's a better idea, provide new equipment unlocks or xp for when your team actually wins. I think it'll greatly improve the quality of the online experience for everyone. Hey camper, you can sit there all day with your 3 kills, 0 deaths, but you won't unlock the next scope. Hey Rambo, you can throw your godly stats in people's faces and curse out your teammates when you lose, but maybe if you tried to be a better teammate, you can get your little e-prestige gold star.
Pretty much. MW2 you don't get Cold-Blooded until lvl 33. You have 3 very basic killstreaks to start off with. So, someone who has been playing longer than you can run high killstreaks, snowball ridiculously, and you can do little to nothing to protect yourself. Why? You haven't played enough.

On the flip side, your killstreaks are pretty meh, they don't snowball, you don't have the option of snowballing, and he can counter them with a perk and a launcher, you don't get until you have leveled enough.

It's nice that a FPS game puts things in the game like ridiculous explosives, knives, and killstreaks, and then level imbalancement too.

I think this is what they had intended and not really to make it "better".

Yay, the old real life argument.

It was, you just had to be good at it and get onto a good host.

Well, for me the connections were never bad with IWNet, so I can't say I had any issues with it personally.

I'm getting worried that this'll lead to OP weapons that become extremely OP.
Well, making it for console makes them more money which puts more money into the franchise, there's nothing wrong with a console port, especially when its of high quality and gets patched quickly, the patching didn't happen initially for MW2 because IW only had a 3 month period in which they were legally obligated to fix any fundamental bugs with the game. After BlackOps being a success with its patches (but absolute failure as a game) the 3 developers behind MW3 are obviously going to know how to handle this on all platforms so noone should be worrying too much about it.

If you don't like arcade style shooters which require base skill over anything else, you shouldn't play CoD. I know what I'm talking about, I've played CS1.6 for 6 years competitively and have infact had medial professional experience with the game for a short period of time, 6 months where I was a sponsored player for a small team.

When we have better consoles people will still be whining about console ports because the consoles will be at i5 power and us PC users will be at i20 power.

So yeah, just chill out. It'll be good.
