Not as good as say, MSI or EVGA, or Asus.

I'm running on a Gigabyte GTX 460 and I can play BF3 on high settings comfortable in multiplayer. I can do ultra in single player but it's not as smooth, but is definitely playable.

I am running on 8GB of ram and only an AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE @ 3.6 if that helps.

They're just reference designs produced in the same Foxconn factory all reference design cards come out of. The customer service is definitely no worse than MSI or ASUS and the warranty is on par now with eVGA. Once you register it at their website its lifetime of the purchaser - not market lifetime of the card like PNY's used to be.

I got mine for around 150$ when it was new at christmas time last year. I would just get a newer card at christmas time when cards go cheaper because that's what i'll be doing. I'm selling my 460 to get a new card smile.gif

I second the post that said to buy from OCN marketplace. I managed to scoop up a Gigabyte GTX 460 1 GB for $75 shipped.

Thread Starter
Well I don't plan on getting a new GFX Card anytime soon now because I already spend almost $200 on a new PSU and CPU So maybe around Christmas time I can sell my 4850 for $50 and Ill get enough money from relatives to buy a decent GFX card.

Don't bother with pny's versions of the 400 series, get a decent evga 480 or wait a bit and pickup a evga 560 TI. Of all the people I know who ended up with a gtx 460 pny (including myself) they dreaded it. To be blunt, pny sucks.

Switched to the following recently, since my pny gtx 460 couldn't handle multiplayer on bf3 (even on low) and had issues loading/stuttering on the campaign. Rma'd it once, got another one back and same thing. I'm regretting not getting a 560 ti sooner. Had similar issues with a pair of pny 8800gtx's a while back. Only common denominator is the brand.

I'm sure you know just loads and loads of people with that narrow criteria list. yessir.gif Probably could count them on one hand with four fingers cut off.
