Upgrade to your desired graphics card. That change alone will likely keep you happy until Ivy Bridge is out.

GPU + 8gb of ram is all you would need to game happily.

Add an SSD if you want a snappy system with low boot times.

You will only need to upgrade your CPU/MOBO if you plan to SLI videocards.

Any single graphics card solution can be run admirably on your current CPU

I upgraded.

UPS will deliver my 2500K, Extreme4 Gen3 and 8GB Corsair Vengeance Ram tomorrow. My MX-4 will come on Wednesday.

I didn't feel like waiting, plus everything was on sale.

Hi Biscuits and Gravy,

I did the same thing. I went from an 1100T @ 4ghz on a GA MA 790XT-UD4P to the sig rig on Saturday. It kcked my #D 06 scores from 20,000 to 26,000. I kcked the SB up to 4.5 ghz but I liked the way hte system oc'd itself so I set it back to that. You will see a definate difference.
Have Fun with the new toys
