Well, turn RAW input on. There you go.

Alternatively, hold up...

EDIT:

Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options > MAKE SURE "ENHANCE POINTER PRECISION" is off.

Also uninstall any mouse drivers you have (eg for gaming mice) and just let windows use it as a default mouse.

That should be all...

if you have raw input turned on, just use DPI buttons on your mouse to change your sensitivity. I personally left it all default and have raw input on and have had no issues

The second slider in BF3 has no affect on my mouse movements. Only slider #1.

My issue is when I adjust the turning sensitivity so that it is fast enough to scan left and right, when I zoom in for targeting through a scope it is very jumpy and unprecise and seems like the mouse reoslution is really low.

I did not have this problem with BC2 and my mouse is set at 1000Hz poll.

In the beta, my mouse settings were exact and I had no troubles with any form of mouse acceleration.

In retail however, they have added an inherent degree of negative mouse acceleration. As a very low sensitivity player, this makes the game nearly unplayable. I am not longer to make any twitch movements and am forced to move the mouse slowly to avoid the negative mouse acceleration..

I have searched for a couple hours but was not able to find a fix. Thoughts?

Here, and here is twitter post by a DICE employee addressing the mouse control: https://twitter.com/#!/Thylander/statuses/129610031946661888

It's almost completely unplayable for me as well, we'll just have to wait for DICE to patch it.

Raw on causes a Deathadder black edition and an Ikari laser to absolutely freak out. Net accel from hell!

Try enabling Raw Input and using the buttons on your mouse / the control panel dedicated to your mouse to change DPI.

It's the game it doesn't matter what mouse or DPI setting you use. I've tried a WMO, a Lachesis, a G500, and a Deathadder all with the same results.
