Help Me Keep My OC Settings When Using Sapphire Trixx

I had just unlocked the shaders for my reference Diamond 6950 but for some reason, my OC settings (core & memory speed) go back to default when I restart my rig. Any idea on how to override the AMD Overdrive utility? I'm assuming that this is the culprit sozo.gif If I am mistaken, please correct and provide me some clarity. Usually I play with Nvidia but I thought I would give AMD/ATI a chance. BTW...I am an AMD/ATI newbie redface.gif

There should be a setting in Trixx that lets you apply your overclock profile on launch. So that includes clock settings and fan profile.

Aargh sozo.gif Forget about it mad.gif I can not get my OC to stay. Well at least I was able to unlock the shaders smile.gif I'll just deal with AMD Overdrive and settle with a 840/1325 OC for now. I'll get back to experimenting when I get some serious time-off from work.

If Trixx is giving you trouble then just use Afterburner. Download the latest beta, enable "unofficial overclocking", overclock, save the settings in a profile, and tick the "Apply overclocking at system startup" box.

Way ahead of you bro but thanks for checking in with me thumb.gif I had downloaded Afterburner 2.10 and had made the required changes in the .cfg file (thanks to coffeejunky's AMD/ATI overclocking thread...hears to you smil3dbd4e4c2e742.gif).

I had done a little experimenting late last night and I think I got the hang of it...just need to find the magic OC & voltage and I'll be very satisfied biggrin.gif

I will say this without hesitating...I like MSI Afterburner thumb.gif I was able to OC my 6950 (unlocked shaders) to a nice & stable 900MHz/1400MHz @ 1.19v w/50% fan setting applaud.gif Now I'm going to see if I can decrease the voltage a bit more for 24/7 usage.
