I was at the grocery store this morning, had to stop in for an energy drink since I was dragging so bad. Only one register was open so I got in line behind a woman with a full cart of stuff who had 3 kids with her. It was obvious they were not all her own (she was caucasian, one of the children was african american) and I struck up a conversation asking if she was a nanny or ran a daycare or something to that effect. It turns out she adopted two of children with her husband and then found out recently he'd been cheating on her. When she confronted him about it to work it out, he left and took everything while she was at her mother's house with the kids. She came home to an empty house. That's a lot to tell a stranger, in my opinion.. but I commisserated with her because that would be a really crappy situation to be in. The cashier rung her up and she swiped her card but it was declined. She tried another card and it was declined. She was all frustrated saying "no way, there is plenty of room on these cards." She started apologizing to the cashier and trying to put stuff back in the cart so I just pulled out my card and swiped it. I'm $250 poorer but I feel great for helping that lady and her kids eat for another week. Hopefully her dirtbag husband starts paying some alimony or something.. I get the feeling he ran up the balances buying stuff after he left her.
I'd like to be able to say I'd give away the 5770 to a friend or something but honestly I'd crossfire it with the one I have and get caught up to be able to run some newer games with higher settings
