Having trouble routing 3/8in. ID X 5/8in. OD tubing.

Thread Starter
I'm watercooling my Lian-Li Q11 so practically every route is somewhat tight, at least relative to how damn firm this tubing is. I'm having trouble getting any route actually hooked up at both ends, and once it is it's stressing both components in a way I don't like.

I'm using compression fittings, and half the time once I tighten them down I can't even remove them again with my fingers.

Is there any kind of softer more flexible tubing than my "PrimoFlex Pro LRT White Tubing -3/8in. ID X 5/8in. OD" stuff? Should I just write off all my fittings and buy ones for a smaller tubing?

Any advice at all?

If you soak the tubing in warm/hot water, it'll make it more pliable and you'll be able to bend it much easier. Also, once it cools down, it'll keep it's shape. Just make sure you're installing it while it's still warm.

If youre stressing components with that tubing, youre cutting it too short. Stop trying to use the minimum and make some nice arcs with it. Been using the stuff for years with no problem.
