Worth changing Abyssus into G9x?

Hello, so I need a good claw grip mouse mainly for playing SC2. I have razer abyssus which is not bad but I don't like quite a few thing about it. It's poorly made, not comfortable and has jittering. I mean what's the point of all that DPI if you can't even draw a straight line with this mouse..

So my new mouse priorities:
- accuracy, precision
- size (lower better)
- comfort
- everything else

So i decided to go with logitech g9x. Anyone compared it to abyssus, is it worth changing? Or maybe anyone recommend even better claw grip mouse. TY.

The G9x has a small amount inconsistent positive acceleration that may or may not bother you. If you don't use a low sensitivity and don't mind using the 1800CPI step I would suggest the CM storm spawn. Or if you don't mind waiting the CM storm Xornet might be another possibility but I have no idea how it will perform.

Spawn

Xornet

So there is no way to remove that acceleration? I know there is a registry fix to remove it, wondering is it possible to do that way, because I really don't want any acceleration.

Nope, its a sensor flaw that exists in all mice that use the sensor. Despite what the slower crowd might say, its there and measurable.

That registry fix only removes Window's based acceleration not the inherit acceleration caused by the mouse's sensor.

Wow didn't know that. So it's probably not worth buying cause for SC2 accuracy and speed is everything, and I don't want mouse being unpredictable.. oh well ;/

abyssus is used by many pro quake players, because it's small and light. g9x is good aswell i guess.
use 450 dpi instead if you cant draw a straight line, this mouse is made for a claw grip and they really aren't made for comfort.
