Best performance SSD for Sata II

Thread Starter
My motherboard (see sig) is an aging first generation socket 1366 i7 mobo. So it only has SataII 3Gbps ports. So im thinking that getting one of the superfast SSD's like the Crucial M4 everybody is raving about would be a waste of money, as I wouldn't be able to utilize the full speeds of the drive.

Can anybody recommend a high capacity SataII SSD? Im looking at 128GB and larger drives.

Hmm so even tho you say you have Sata II only. Personally I would go with an M4 128Gb its about $200 on Newegg and honestly even if you go to Sata II for more SSD's you might save around 10-20 dollars. The main reason I would suggest an M4 is (other than being really really reliable and fast) is if you do update your motherboard in the near future you might kick yourself for not getting a Sata III. At least that's how I'd work it
