Need A New Full Tower - Page 3

It also comes in three versions: Black/Snow/LCS(a complete liquid cooling system consisting of a 240mm rad on the top, and some other stuff I don't feel like explaining because the egg' explains it). It's basically like the NZXT Phantom, but there are more features, and there aren't really any things you need to upgrade fan wise. It can fit a 240 on the top too. It has a fan controller, and you can change the colors of the 3x200mm led fans. Look on youtube for more detailed info.

The Elysium (BEHEMOTH *cough* BEHEMOTH) is a great case if you don't mind the size of it. It's probably the most expansive case that's been mentioned on this thread so far.

The Phantom isn't a bad choice either if you're going to upgrade all of the fans in it. This case was actually my first choice, but I didn't want to spend the extra cash trying to 'max it out'. For what I was going to do with it (replace all of the fans with high CFM ones), the price of it completed was pushing about $250.

So, all in all the Level 10 GT is a great median between the two cases. All of them support water cooling, and the Elysium more-so. The GT is more portable because of its handle, and it has the most features (5 hot-swaps anyone?). The Phantom probably has the best cooling performance out of them when all of the appropriate fans are installed, but like I said before, the price can get up there. Look on youtube or some reviews on the cases to make your final verdict. You can't go wrong with any of them.
The Level 10GT is just an advertising gimic. The WC option doesn't even come near the Rasa Kit standard (Can't fit a RX360). However, I love that case as well and I'm a big fan of the design. Too bad the materials it's made of aren't the best.

I was looking at the Strike X cases from AeroCool, but I don't think it fairs well with RX360 as well.

Hey, was wondering, can a HAF 932 fit an RX360 in it without need for a mod? searched around, but most HAF 932's with an RX3560 in it that I saw were modded without describing if they had to mod for extra space to get the RX360 to fit :S

I spoke with andrewmchugh and he mentioned that it can fit inside, but you can ask and find out for yourself.

Cubitek HPTX-Tank.
-1-
-2-

Runs about $260 in the US, but not made it to the Egg yet. Amazon, MWave, etc.

Will fit a triple in the roof, and a double up front. I'm using the Cubitek Magic Cube modular case, and the quality is good.

Just because the case is made up of plastic doesn't make it a bad case. However, I do feel that the LCS version of the case isn't worth the money because you can buy the regular version, and throw in a RX240. The OP said that he will most likely be running a 240 for the CPU, so I thought that this case would be an option. It isn't final if he/she is going to use a 360. Also, how is it an advertising gimmick? It has numbers and the features to back up the product.

Anyways...I have some more case recommendations:
IN WIN Dragon Rider-240 on top
Enermax Sniperex-240 on top
Fractal Design Define XL If you're willing to mod it, you can fit a 360 on the top, and a 240 in the front as shown here. I might do it to mine...
Silverstone Raven RV03 You can fit a 240 on the 5.25 to HDD mounts (I don't know about a rasa kit, but a h100 should fit). Check some pics of the case's internals for clarification.
Antec DF85-280 on top. It has 2x140mm on the top, so you have to get an adapter to downsize it to a 240, or mod it (zipties?).

Whoops...I didn't look at your rig

I read some reviews on the case, and it's really good.

Here are some questions I have:
Why do you want to get another case?
Look at this post. Which rad setup do you feel most comfortable with (your answer will depend on which cases we should be looking at)?
Are you comfortable with using self-contained watercooling products (Corsair's Hydro series)
Are you okay with regularly maintaining a watercooling setup?
Do you prefer a more gamer-like look to a case (HAF 932/HAF X/ CM Storm Trooper/etc.), or a more refined look (650D/800D/Lian Li/Fractal/etc.)?

I apologize if I'm rushing you with questions, but

The only STUPID question is the one NOT asked.
I just need some more information to really find a case perfect for your needs.

I wanted to ask, which full towers have an 2.5 dock (or x-dock)?

I know that coolermaster storm trooper has one, and I just spotted Xigmatek Elysium has one on top as well. Are there any others?
