Right now i have a hyper212+ .... I wanna upgrade.
Alot of people have reccommended the noctua nh-d14, ..is there anything better than it in the same price range or is that the way to go?
Also, i have been told that at that price poing an h70 with new fans would be my best option. This true? What fans would you suggest

It is hard to say Depending on which site you go to the Thermal right silver arrow slightly beats the NH-D14 and some say the NH-D14 beats the Silver arrow it kinda two, one, half dozen or the other. People though seem to form a consensus that the Silver arrow and NH-d14 are better than the h70. So really For me it came down to the Silver arrow matching my motherboard better.

Hi.

If you want one of those liquid systems, I recommend you the XSPC Rasa RX360, the H70 won't give you better performance than the NH-D14.

The NH-D14 is the better cooler, as long as your case has enough room for it.

well i just could post another test where the SA beats the D14
thats just nonsense, both are very good coolers, it only depends on if you like the style, if it fits and how much money you want to spend!

I wasn't aiming this at the Silver Arrow. I only read the OP's question of D14 vs H70.

Not for attack to anyone, but the OP is asking for "the same price range" and the H70 plus new fans would be more expensive than the NH-D14 that comes with the fans.

Just my thought
