Which 570 would you reccomend?

Thread Starter
After playing around with ATI cards since i started gaming i have decided to take the pulunge and try out NVIDIA, more specifically the GTX 570. The two that i have been looking at most are the Direct CU II and the Gigabyte SOC versions. Out of the two which would you guys think would be the best taking into consideration that i have no intentions of water cooling in the near future so they will be running on the stock cooling that they come with.

Thanks in advance,
Stu.

DirectCUII...better cooling, granted it'll be a really tough fit for SLI.

Honestly, over both of them I'd recommend the MSI TFIII

MSI TFIII. I had my buddy order one last night!

Quiet. Cool. Serial based warranty. Highly overclockable. What a winner.

Direct CU II - £250
SOC Windforce 3X - £275
TFIII - £300

Could the cooling on the TFIII really be that much better than the SOC which has 3x fans

The SOC is also much longer.

Eh, I've never owned one so I don't want to knock it....but I've had experience with MSI TFII's and they overclocked like champs while maintaining cool temps.
