Case temperature might increase by 2-4c...not a very big deal.

If you are really concerned I would just take out the unused PCI-e covers and set an exhaust fan there. Again, its not needed but you can do it as a test. I would not flip the side fan as exhaust simply because you will benefit more from cool air directly on the GPU.
