First Time Water Cooling - What Parts?

So I have a friend that is looking to build a $4k computer...and was possibly interested in water cooling the CPU + Graphics cards.

The case is the Haf X, and the board is the UD7 from Gigabyte, with an i7 2700K CPU. As for the GPU's, they will be SLI 580's, EVGA for sure, but not sure which cards yet, open to suggestions on those too, as in would it be better to pick up a set with the blocks already on it, or better off buying the blocks separate and putting them on instead?

The card choices are pretty much the Classified if he can ever find in stock, or maybe one of these 2:

The one with the block on it is basically $140 more, would that be more or less the same cost as buying the block and parts separately, and will it perform equally or less?

Can someone help put a list together of all the components that would be needed? Depending on which cards above budget after all parts would be roughly $800-$1k for WC parts.

Thanks

Also, if you list parts for us, can you attach a reason for it? Will help both of us to get better acquainted with water cooling.

There pretty close EK HF blocks are about $125 a piece for the 580s. You probably want two loops for best results and since price is not much of an object here. Maybe a XSPC RX360 Rad + an EK 120 Rad in between the cards. The CPU should work with a single RX240 and a EK HF 1155 block. I am afraid I cannot give much guidance for the pump and reservoir.

So 2 loops, means 1 loop for both of the GPU's and 1 loop for the CPU, does that mean more then 1 pump? I know next to nothing about WC

Since the price is pretty close, how do the EVGA blocks that are already setup for WC perform compared to blocks you put on yourself?

Thanks for the reply

Between the 2 newegg links, I got the EVGA GTX 580 with the Hydro Copper 2 installed because there have been issues where the EVGA GTX 580 cards didn't have the heat spreader on the GPU chip. Without the heat spreader, most of the aftermarket water blocks won't be able to make contact with the GPU chip... making the water block useless. EVGA has great cuatomer support, so if you have a card without the heat spreader, they can replace it for you... however, it might be a refurbished card instead of a new card that you paid for. I just paid the extra cost to not have to deal with the heat spreader issue, and saves me a little time in installing 2 additional blocks.

Also, I believe EK makes a heat spreader that you can purchase if your card is missing it.
