LOL what are you talking about? what is IB FUD? They have PCi-E 3.0, even on their lower end board BTW UD3H in my microcenter has PCi-E 3.0 switches, they silently release rev 1.3 boards, after that announcement. Their X79 boards have UEFI FYI.

They said all boards worked with PCIe3.0 until MSI called them out, then said UEFI is unstable, etc (When it isn't) and tried to pass off IB as incompatible with current UEFI solutions in order to increase sales.

This is coming from someone who's getting a GA-990FXA-UD3, if it wasn't for the half price deal I'm getting I'd be going for ASUS. Gigabyte are sucking this generation and their marketing department is full of brain-dead monkeys throwing poo at each other.

I like this actually. In case the wi-fi card fails, you only have to replace the mini PCI-E card at lower cost.

It says "non-SLI", probably meaning single slot (ie. Unaffected by the switch thing) boards.

Even if it did mean all their boards, it'd still be bad. But at least ASUS don't spread FUD about UEFI just because their engineers designed a horrid interface, got heaps of negative user feedback over it and had to redesign it.

P8P67 doesn't so SLI? really? lol All i am saying is that look at it this way, MSi is so out of money that they can't even hold MOA anymore, so what do you do when you are desperate?

Asrock is different, asrock only spends money on marketing, as ASUS engineers their boards. ASRock tho cannot use ASUS BIOS technology tho, that is the whole catch.

Anyways Yea GB didn't as well as they could have with LGA1155, except for the Sniper 2 the rest of their BIOSes could be better.

For X79 GB is incorporating a lot of new stuff that they needed to do for a few years. you will see what i mean when reviews come out.
