Keep your character leveling up and stuff.

It's a mod that lets you level up and gain better equipment over the long term in cRPG multiplayer servers. Sort of like what happens when you play single player. On native multiplayer servers everyone's characters are pretty much equal. You choose from the three predefined classes with their skills: infantry, cavalry, or archer. And gain temporary equipment based on how well you do during the match. It then gets reset during the next match.

I tried out cRPG a long time, I don't know if they've changed it by now, but when I played 50%-60% of the people on it were running around in advanced equipment murdering newbies like nobodies business. In order to get anywhere, you need be pretty dedicated. And get use to grinding through hundreds of frustrating deaths until you get some half-decent equipment. I wouldn't recommend this mod unless you play this game pretty hardcore, and know what you are doing. If you are new, stay away because it will only stress you out and make you dislike M&B. Maybe check it out later when you're experienced in regular multiplayer.

If you only play singleplayer, you don't need this mod at all.

Now that is a very good explanation of what the mod does, I probably won't be playing multiplayer much so I will just skip by that one.
Thanks for the excellent writeup though, +rep for your effort.

Found this mod, which is a compilation of a ton of visual mods added to the game.
Includes polished landscapes, and a bunch of other visual mods like sky boxes and better castle textures.
