Hey guys, what would be a good upgrade from the 8800gt 512mb?
My specs are: Intel core 2 Quad Q6600 at 2.4ghz, 8gb ram 1066mhz ddr2, asus maximus formula motherboard, and of course the 8800gt 512mb. PSU is 620w corsair...
I want a pretty big upgrade to my current gpu I'm not too educated on what would work well with my rig and what would be compatible, hope you guys can shed some light on this. Running 64bit if that helps.

Well it depends on your budget. GTX 560 Ti is a great option though and will be a massive upgrade.

Yes the 560 would be a considerable upgrade, or a similar gpu from the ATI camp.

Make sure to use the User CP to add your rig specs

A budget would help alot. But Even a gtx 460 would be miles ahead.

Haha, cool suggestions guys. And I'm willing to spend up to £150 on the GPU which is equivalent to about $230 ish. Looking forward to more replies.
