well, if you want to use them separately, don't raid (they're different volume sizes anyway).

boot the os from disc first, choose the ssd to install it on, then use the other disc as you please

zewi,

I would suggest: using a 120GB/128GB ssd to load Windows, programs and games. Then, buy a regular sata hard drive & external enclosure (don't buy pre-made external drives...they're not worth it) for storing files/movies/downloading/etc.

How many games do you play at once? I have Crysis 2, The Witcher 2 and Battlefield 3 on my Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 120GB ssd with more than enough room to spare.

You might be able to get away with using the 64GB as boot drive if you disable the pagefile and hibernation to save space.

http://techgage.com/article/disablin...aim_ssd_space/

Installing an OS on a SSD is basically the same as a normal HDD, just plug it in and boot from the Windows disk, and install.

If you want check this out. http://www.overclock.net/ssd/1156654...imization.html

I'll post up how to RAID the drives when I can if someone else doesn't. But you don't need to, you can just set it up like you said. I'd rather that myself.
