Hi my gtx 295 died a few weeks ago perfect timing for bf3... lol i wasnt planning to buy one til sometime next year but now i have to. my pc is a core i7 920 and im wondering should i get a gtx 570 or a 580?. is my processor somewhat too slow for bf3 and will it bottleneck in bf3?.

btw i want to be able to play the game on high (aa,hbao etc turned off is fine) on 1920x1080 on constant 60-100 fps i cant stand fps drop below 60... is that possible?

If you've got a decent overclock going, a 920 should pump out frames quite nicely. If you want to spend more than 350 dollars, get a 580. Less than 350, get a 570. They'll both perform great if you're at 1080p or less

If you're using the stock Intel cooler, I would definitely upgrade to an aftermarket cooler before you OC. The right amount of VRAM depends on the resolution you'll be playing at - 1.25GB should be suitable for 1920x1080 and lower. Any higher than that and you'll want 1.5GB (or more)
