They also always under estimate the skill of people using air vehicles to the point where one good person in a helicopter can empty a server real fast or keep you from spawning. BC2 is my last battlefield until EA/DICE decides to stamp out the bugs. It has always had really annoying network/server connection issues too....
lol if a server empties out from an enemy destroying you in a helicopter, your whole team sucks in the first place. In bf3 there are so many things that can destroy helicopters, stationary aa, mobile aa, manpads, jets, even machinegun and tank fire; your team has no excuses and just flat out sucks. Battlefield games are glitchy though especially on release but there is no other game like it.

you won't have to
you'll be required to open the game through origins anyway
all you people who think EA'll all of a sudden rework their DRM, do you not play Ubisoft games from Steam?
or Games for Windows Live off of Steam?

Or even a game like Rift, you launch the game but you still use the Rift client to login.

For most people, it's not a matter of the quality of the platform. We're all used to having our games in one place, Steam, and the fact that we need an entirely new platform Battlefield 3 is frustrating. It's mainly about convenience.

I would actually get it on PC if on steam. I cant run games on my laptop anyway, so that is why I play PS3 now. Sig Rig is away from me 7 months out of the year while at school

^

If I can play multiplayer without using origin (which is a slow, buggy POS that throws errors half the time) then I'll buy the game all over again if I have to (assuming it is released well before the multiplayer servers all empty because people have moved on to something else).
