[VR-Zone] ASRock X79 Extreme9 Tops Off Lineup - Page 4

Well played ASRock.

Btw, the heatsink isn't covering a memory slot; the pointless aluminum "Extreme" plate is covering it. Just take it off. Then, the board is even more sexier, runs cooler, and you can use all of the insane amounts of RAM you want

the black PCB is hardly visible...like there's so much going on in the board. Its like a jam packed city!

This has added PCIe power and two USB 3.0 headers with the most sata and 8 Dimm slots and no ugly colors scheme. This is pretty nice.

I am pretty sure Asrock isnt that daft to have a design that covers the RAM slot.

And the Tri-Sli, if I aint wrong is going to be starting from the 2nd PCie slot, which is extremely smart, so you dont have the sound card at the bottom PCI-e, blocking off the third GPU, and instead, lies on the top PCI-e and allows air to go to the most bottom GPU, which is kinda smart tbh. Have seen many other 3 way SLI mobos that do not do that.
