OCZ Agility 3 240GB for £270

Can anybody inform me if this is a good deal or not?

OCZ Agility 3 240GB from Overclockers.co.uk

Alot of review sites dont seem to agree on the real-world performance and value of the Agility 3 but this is close to £1 a GB and seems like a steal. I've also bought a SataIII controller card to unlock the full potential of its read and write speeds.

So am i doin it rite or no? (Yes ive already commited to buying, the order is processing in the warehouse )

Yeah a lot of people are really digging the M4. M4 seems like a really great all-rounder and I was very close to just stretching to the extra £50. Im not too fussed about having the fastest of the fast and the bestest of the best I just want a good value/performance ratio.

Im new at this SSD thing and all I really want to avoid are the total drive failures and firmware problems people are reporting.

Why I remember back in the day, buying a HDD was as simple as looking at the price, the capacity and the platter speed. This new fangled SSD stuff is so damn complicated its unreal.

Ah yea, dont worry about the firmware stuff its pretty much sorted now.

Did a firmware update about 20 mins ago literally no hassle downloaded the ocz tool box and it was done in 1 min after a reboot now its ever quicker
