I need some help picking what game to finish first. I've put hours into both games, but I have never actually finished either one.

Since I just finished building my sig rig, and am nearly complete with OCing, I am creating a list of games that I want to play. Obviously, these two games are high on my list, and I thought it would be fun to actually be able to finish these games at full-max-awesome settings with all the awesome graphics improvement mods (and expansions, of course!)

Now, my intent is not to turn this thread into a Morrowind v. Oblivion debate, as I see each game as a wonderful pieces of art in its own right, and I will be finishing both of them. My problem is I am indecisive, and don't know which one to pick first. So make the decision for me OCN!

As most people would say, Oblivion would seem disappointing if you play Morrowind first. So, with that said, I'd say Oblivion first. Hopefully, while you're playing Oblivion, the Morroblivion mod will be finished. In case you haven't heard of it, it's a mod aimed to bring Morrowind's storyline, quests, etc. into Oblivion.

OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!

This has got to be the coolest thing ever.

Now, like I said, I've played both before, and I don't really think of either one as better or worse than the other; I just see them as different games. But this is one freaking awesome reason to play Oblivion first.

Both are incredible games but oblivion does tie in a little with skyrim so if you can only play one and then play skyrim , then play oblivion.

Yes, I'm serious. http://morroblivion.com/
They release part of the mod at a time so people can play it. Best part is, you can use the mods in Oblivion with it. So, despite the lacking accessible mods in Morrowind, you can still play it with Oblivion mods. Hope they somehow get voicing, I got seriously turned off by the amount of reading to get info...

I'm like you. That was actually my problem when I first started "playing": I spent all my time looking for mods instead of actually gaming.
Oblivion. Its simpler, and won't be as disappointing if you do it first.

Then take your sweet time with Morrowind.
I have many mods for my Oblivion. One of them is a connected world, to and from Morrowind to Oblivion. Sick of Oblivion, just go to a location on the map and there's a gate to transport you to Morrowind! Anyway you will be disappointed with Oblivion's end so do that first...

I vote Morrowind first. But this is coming from a Daggerfall player.
