Cfx 5770s > Single Gtx 480?

Worth it? Would like some feedback.

5770's performed like 4870's, so considering 4870x2 did like a stock 470, not much. There would be gains from vRAM and OC'ing but that's about it. I wouldn't buy a 480 anymore, it's too power sucking. I'd go with a 470 or 6970. You can OC 470 above 480 levels at lesser temps. And the 6970 is a better choice so.

You'll probably see improvements in games, and also less issues (if you have had any) then using a crossfire setup. The vram increase is nice so you could add more AA and eye candy like that.

As far as temps go they were a tad warmer then my 580s but consumption wise they are even. At least in my findings going from a 480 -> 580 using a Kill-A-Watt meter. The fan on the 480 is louder at higher speeds though I barely noticed since I use a headset.
