Before we begin there is a few things I feel you need to know, this build will consist of an Intel Sandy Bridge E six core processor and two high-end graphics cards, there will be no chipset cooling in this build.

I am in the process of building a new PC case (TJ11) and water cooling system, I am just not sure if my current pump (Laing DDC 3.25/EK V2 pump top) is enough now that I'll have an SR1 560 linked to an SR1 360 radiator with an EK Supreme HF and two GTX 580 EK water blocks. I have seen what a Swiftech MCP35X is capable of and if I should go that rought or just buy another DDC 3.25 having dual DDC 3.25 pumps for my single loop. I don't want to waste money on two Swiftech MCP35X pumps if just adding one more DDC 3.25 will give me similar flow rates and temperatures!

Another question I need answered is when does flow rate reach diminishing returns and which option will give me higher flow rates? Also at what point does flow rate stop effecting temperatures? My SR1 560 (140mm rad) and SR1 360 (120mm rad) were already purchased and I will be using my Gentle Typhoon AP-15's on both radiators (BGears adapters for the SR1 140mm rad) slightly undervolted for that silence!

Thanks in advance,

Systemlord

Never having built a loop with dual pumps I always wondered how to ensure the second pump always has an adaquate supply.Does this all work out by luck or are there some calculations involved?
