Arctic Accellero Xtreme Plus II issue...

Thread Starter
Hi i've been using my AACXPII on my PNY Reference GTX 470 for a few months now and just bought a second GTX 470. I just took out my PNY with the Accellero just to check it out and just realized that the big Heatsink that goes under where the stock fan normally is has actually came off the setting. Like it is just floating around inside my card now. Has anyone had this problem or can think of any reason why this could have happened? I applied a good amount of pressure when placing the heatsinks on. On top of that, I let it cure overnight rather than just the hour recommended time.

Or if anyone has any recommendations as to do anything different with this particular Third party setup that would be cool...

haha.... I figured it out... its the heatsink that you are supposed to screw in on top of having the tape on it. In the instructions I got with the unit it never said anything about screwing that piece in. Now... I kinda just feel moronic... but I got it figured out.
