PSU Help! 550w

Thread Starter
I am in the process of upgrading my gfx card to a 560ti.
My question is 550 watts enough for my build after i install the card?!

Edit: If not, what do you recommend?
Price range: 100.. $150 tops?

Overkill.

Edit - You could more than likely pull it off with a quality 450w. But with that PSU you'll have room to OC that plastic monster!

I'll just add my input and say that without a doubt, you are good to go with that psu and your new GTX560 Ti!

i had gtx 285 for a while (same tdp) and 550w asus A55GA couldnt handle it (crash when gpu in full swing). I bought a boosterx 3 to help it out (300w 12v exclusive psu) and worked fine after that.

um dude, im running a 580 on my OCZ 550w, so far nothing blew up yet. It can support it since it has 1 6+2 pin and 1 6 pin anyway.
