Thanks Gyro.. 2 things i gotta figure out... Power settings is @ high performance but stilll running a 3.2 instread of 3.7... now after removing all the nvidia software i am installing Physx to enable my SLI mode for the dual 9800gts i have

But thats all funs stuff now... thanks alot

is there a way to set it outside of Windows? i must be blind but i can't find that option within power options... its set in performance and i am registering a 3.2

Looks like you set the cpu multi to x16 like the guide said,BUT your 980 has a multi of 18.5.
So you need to set it to 18.5 in the bios,then change it to 18.5(for each core) in the NVtools.
You will most likely need more than the 1.35v recommended in the guide also,try 1.4v .
