razer blackwindow vs steelseries 6gv2

So what should i buy?
I have a Blackwidow, and it feels very smooth, and was quite easy to adjust to, though that's just my 2 cents.

Both are good, though blues are better to type than blacks, which are good for gaming.

The Blackwidow has better switches for typing because they are lighter and give you tactile feedback and a "clicky" noise when you press them. Steelseries uses a linear switch so there is no feedback or "clicky" noise when pressed. If you can deal with the noise I would get the BW because it will be a lot easier on your fingers while typing.

Switch type is preference, blues aren't necessarily better for typing and blacks aren't necessarily better for gaming. If you want a switch with tactility get the BW, if you want a heavy linear switch get the 6GV2.

The steelseries requires more force to press a key(60G). Each press is smooth and is uninterrupted by having no tactile response. The blackwidow has a lighter switch(45G) and has a strong tactile bump on the way down to activation as well as an audible click.

If your going to get the blackwidow, get the stealth. Brown switches are nice
post #9 of 11
Quality wise? Steelseries

Switches? That's totally up to you and what you're going to be doing
post #10 of 11
I've owned both, but i hated the steelseries because of the blacks, its just whatever you like. The build quality on the steelseries is slightly better than the blackwidow, but getting a switch you like more is more important.
