i pay 80$ for internet 150gb of limit and 60mb speed but i overcap this month and the last month before so about 200$ for 300gb lollll
and for tv and phone it cost 140$

the isp have a plan that cost 149$ for internet 170gb cap and 120mb down would be awesome if it is really 120mb down like said lol

I live in Australia... ( Australia the country who is most ripped off)

I pay $110 for 200Gb and homeline rental.(Costs more for calls)
Speeds are crap. Speed-test usually shows 5Mbps down and 0.50 up.

Oh and another thing that irks me is the fact that we are STILL using BITS instead of BYTES for advertising. Its almost 2012 and broadband has been around since the 90s. I think it is safe to say that if you CAN NOT advertise your speeds/packages in BYTES then you either a) need to go out of business or b) STOP SCREWING OVER YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH BIG NUMBERS.

The average customer doesn't know the difference between bits and bytes. Telecommunication companies know this and feed off of it. Same thing with "4G", 4G is more like 3.5. No where near where it actually should be. Tethering will always keep it that way, because they are afraid of people double dipping.

30 squids for 15MBPS down and 1.2mbps up. uncapped includes calls to pretty much anywhere!

next year there rolling out fibre all over the town i live in so its gonna be 100mbps for 35 a month uncapped.
i need to upgrade my house wiring to fibre first tho glad my best mates a sparky!

Yeah, we got fibre coming this December! BT Infinity and Virgin I believe? Can't wait until it goes mainstream
