Best card

Thread Starter
My configuration
intel core i7 920
asus p6t deluxe v2
triple channel 6 gb ddr3
Acer 27"

I've been running a gtx 260 until now.Sadly, not the best graphics card for a 27" monitor.
I want a directx 11 graphics card which can run smoothly on 27" in full 1080p
and not give any problems to my power supply [ Corsair HX 650]
What say people ... please suggest which card is good???

Gtx 570, even a gtx 580 will be fine on that. As long as it's only one. Whats your budget?

I was going to suggest a Lightning Extreme but seeing the budget you should go for probably a 6950/6970 or even a 570 2.5GB if you can find one.

I would actually recommend this card over the ASUS CUII.

The 2.5GB of VRAM will be very handy in anything 1080p and over. It is slightly over budget but an awesome card. I have a friend with 2 in SLi. I only say to get the higher VRAM because of the pull new games like BF3 will pull.
